Can we all just agree that summer is the best season for cooking? There is nothing I love more than firing up the grill. First off, the kitchen doesn’t get hot from cooking and the mess stays mostly outside! There are always great deals on foods for the grill. If you don’t have a grill, or if your grill has seen better days, Hy-Vee has an awesome deal for you! Starting today and going through Sunday only, you can get a Char-Broil, 4 burner gas grill for $175.95. That is a pretty good price for a grill, but the amazing part of this deal is that you will get over $175.95 in coupons when you purchase the grill! This is similar to the Freezer deal that they have had in the past. These are not just your regular, every-day type coupons. These are FREE ITEM coupons! You can look at it like you’re buying the grill and getting over $175 in free food, or you can look at it like you’re buying $175 in food and getting the grill for free! Any way you look at it, this is a great deal!
My tip of the week is how you should spend those free item coupons! Most people would want to run back in the store and grab all the free items, but if you do that, you may just be cheating yourself out of some extra free stuff. The best thing to do is to wait and watch the sales flyer. A lot of time, you might find that the item will go on sale “buy one get one free”, and when that happens, you can use that free item coupon and get TWO items for free. Realistically, you can get more than $175 in free stuff if you have a little patience!

I just went and got my grill and coupons, but the coupons expire in June and the manager says that the chances of any of the items going BOGO is slim, so feel free to go back and shop, shop, shop!!!!!
